    Over two decades of experience teaching throughout the film and video curriculum in conjunction with leadership roles in academic program administration and hands-on industry experience.

     

    Experience designing and implementing Digital Filmmaking & Video Production curriculum at every level ranging from the individual student assessment to the overall B.F.A. program with a consistent focus on relevancy in the rapidly changing film and video industry.

     

    Strong technical skills including shooting, lighting, and editing coupled with an excellent rapport with students, colleagues, and industry professionals.

    Lighting for Digital Film

    This class is an overview of the craft and art of lighting. Topics covered include: electrical distribution, grip & lighting setup, color correction, lens choices, exposure, and on set safety.

    Senior Project Preparation & Production

    This class challenges the students to create a ten minute short film. Each student works as director for their own film, guiding it through the pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
